Hailing from Nintendo’s ill-fated Wii U, Hideki Kamiya’s hyperactive superhero adventure deserves a second chance. Marshalling your diminutive army against a persistent alien force is baffling at first: despite some minor changes, it doesn’t offer a much friendlier welcome than the original. Yet patient players who take the time to master its unorthodox combat will be rewarded with a succession of inventive and extravagant set-pieces. Unruly but unforgettable. CS
