Creeper

Eternity, In Your Arms

-

Perhaps the most-anticipated British debut album in recent years, Eternity, In Your

Arms sees Creeper build on the stellar Unfurl work put in by the band’s slew of pre-album EPs. Black Rain’s mid-tempo punk and the breakneck Poison Pens provide a stunning one-two opening barrage of Bad Religionmeets-AFI blows. The superb Misery brings the pace down in spine-tingling fashion, allowing Ian Miles and Oliver Burdett to slow a more stripped-down side to their playing, before Down Below brings the tempo back up. The brooding I Choose To Live Is an anthemic closer befitting what feels like a big album from a soon to be huge band. Rich Chamberlain Download Misery
