Goodbye Chuck Berry

Early pioneer of rock ’n’ roll, Chuck Berry passed away on 18 March from natural causes, age 90. A genuine trailblazer, Chuck carried the lick and showmanship influence of T-Bone Walker and duck-walked with it for his adaption of the Western Swing song Ida Red as Maybellene for Chess Records in 1955.
