The title track sees him switching to keyboard as he fully dedicates to the songs’ big pictures. “Unforgetta­ble Fire was an experiment in staying clear of the guitar for the most part,” Edge admitted to Guitar Player in 1985. “I did an awful lot more keyboards and general atmospheri­c work on the guitar rather than taking it to the forefront. Neverthele­ss guitar drives the frantic delay of Wire, using damped strings, echo and bottleneck in the intro to create fresh sounds. Download: Pride (In The Name Of Love)
