Rise Against
Wolves
There’s plenty for Rise Against to be angry about right now, so it’s fitting that they’ve delivered Wolves – a call to arms for those who are with them to rally against political regression – just a few months after Donald Trump was sworn in. Now nine albums in, it’s safe to say we know what we hope to get from a Rise Against record, and this delivers in spades.
Wolves is (mostly) uptempo, pissed off yet melodic punk, spurred on by the production of Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains) which reinstates the definite live, band-in-aroom feel that some fans have missed in recent releases. Tonally, there aren’t many surprises, just more of what we love about Rise Against. Stuart Williams Download Wolves
