Will the Cort/Manson alliance change the game for mid-priced electrics?

Man son Guitar Works has always been a customshop aspiration brand. It’s who you’ d call when the en or mo dome was calling you, and you needed a bespoke instrument of the highest calibre. But in aligning with Co rt, Man son is reaching out to the mainstream player. Th eM-Jet, like the MB C -1 before it, bears the Co rt logo on the head stock, but its DNA is quintessentially Man son. As part of the Stage Series, which also includes the more retro-vibe’d Classic TC, the M- Jet is a crowd-pleaser that’ s sure to get a lot of traction. And the Co rt-manufactured variations on the Matt Bell amy signature models–with options on kill buttons, Sustainiac Pro Sustainer sand Z. V ex Fuzz Factory on board effects–are further proof that it’ s intent on breaking the mould when arming the high-street shredder for battle. Where Man son and Cort take this line next will be fascinating. It could be huge.
