Taken from Chasing Yesterday this track bears hallmarks of Noel’s earlier style but also illustrates how his writing has matured since the heady days of Britpop.

The song is played with a capo at the 3rd fret, which allows you to use a selection of shapes that would otherwise need trickier barre chords. Clamp your capo behind the 3rd fret to effectively retune your guitar three semitones higher – making the G minor key signature much easier to manage.

The notation shows you the chord names for both the original shape and the ‘true’ pitch of the capo’d chords – the idea being that uncapo’d open position shapes are easier to remember.
