Night market makes move

THE Strand Night Markets will be staged a week later this month to coincide with the influx of visitors for Townsville’s V8 weekend.

Usually held on the first Friday of the month, the market will be moved to Friday, July 10.

It will see a wide variety of entertainment, food, fashion, craft, jewellery and home and leisure displays take over Strand Park from 5pm to 9.30pm.
