Iggy Park in state semi

IGNATIUS Park have won through to the semi- finals of the annual Confraternity Shield rugby league carnival. The carnival is open to all independent high schools in the state and the local rugby league nursery will play St Patrick’s Mackay in the semi- final today. Ignatius Park were undefeated through four pool games and coach Matt Rowan said he was thrilled with his side’s defence, with the team only conceding one try so far. Current champions St Brendan’s ( Mackay) will face host school St Peter Claver in the other semi- final today.
