Wendys closures

Townsville Bulletin - - NEWS -

SOME Wendys ice cream stores across Australia could close, with a former master franchisor being placed in administration. Corporate recovery company Ferrier Hodgson has taken charge of the affairs of Wendy’s Supa Sundaes Ltd, which was established in South Australia in 1979. Singapore- based company Supatreats Australia bought out the Wendys brand a year ago and will continue to act as the master franchisor for most of the 200 or more stores across Australia and New Zealand. Stores that haven’t reached an agreement with Supatreats will no longer be able to trade under the Wendys brand.
