Warrior extends invite

GREENPEACE’S flagship, the Rainbow Warrior, will anchor in the ocean off Magnetic Island today and is inviting locals on board.

The ship ( right) will open its deck to give curious locals a chance to meet the crew in the control room and learn about the hi- tech features on board the custom- built ship.

The Open Day will run from 10am to 2.45pm, with crew ferrying visitors from the Magnetic Island ferry terminal to the ship on inflatable boats.

For safety reasons, Greenpeace cannot host children under five years old or people with disabilities.
