New coach sticks with Walsh plans

-

ADELAIDE’S interim coach Scott Camporeale says he will steer the grieving AFL club along the path laid by Phil Walsh.

The Crows returned to training yesterday, three days after Walsh was allegedly murdered by his son.

“We had a discussion this morning and tried to just reflect on Phil’s values that he left at this footy club – team first and elite standards,” Camporeale said.

“That won’t change. They’re the real pillars and foundations put down.

“The vision that Phil had nine months ago when I sat down with him in November ... that won’t change.

“The players are that.

“They want to live and breathe what Phil put in place so there won’t be any deviations from that at all.”
