SHANTELLE TO DELIVER ON MODEL FUTURE

SHE is a delivery driver by day and models by night, now Shantelle Woodford has taken out Miss Townsville 2015.

The 19- year- old auto spares delivery driver was last night crowned Miss Townsville 2015, after a three- day competition involving costumes, swimwear and formal wear at the Townsville Show.

The young model beat out 31 other contenders to take home $ 10,000 in cash and will be a face for Townsville at events around the region.

“I was so excited, I could hardly walk when it was announced. I haven’t been doing competitions for very long, so to win this was really exciting,” Ms Woodford ( pictured) said.

“This is a big step into the light. It will hopefully start my career. I want to be a model so winning competitions like this is a major step.

“My friends and family supported me the whole way. I don’t think I could have done it without them.”
