Grantham inquiry

A SOUTHEAST Queensland community devastated by deadly floodwaters in 2011 will have its say more than four years on, with public hearings in a new commission of inquiry set to begin. Twelve people died on January 10, 2011, in flooding at Grantham, west of Brisbane. Public inquiries into the Grantham Floods Commission of Inquiry will begin in nearby Gatton today. The first five days of hearings will give witnesses and residents the chance to speak about the day a wall of water surged through their township.
