Adulterers hacked off

A MILLION Australian love rats risk being exposed after a dating website for adulterers was hit by hackers. Ashley Madison claims it has 37 million members, including one million in Australia, and uses the tagline: “Life is short. Have an affair.” But hackers claim they have members’ credit card information, which can be used to identify them. The hackers have already published a small amount of information and claim they will keep divulging the secrets of Ashley Madison’s would- be adulterers until the service is closed. “With over 37 million members … a significant percentage of the population is about to have a very bad day, including many rich and powerful people,” they said.
