Thief found a rare shop assistant

-

JUST read the article about the near theft at Anaconda and you would have to say the thief was unlucky to ride into a shop assistant.

I was in there recently buying a pair of walking shoes and it was difficult to find a shop assistant. Had to ask at the check- out counter if they would call for someone to help me. An assistant came and she showed me a pair of the style that I had asked for but they were the wrong size. By this time she had disappeared, but I managed to locate a pair my size and made the purchase.

It is obvious the thief had cased the store as there are not many shop assistants on the floor and one wonders how they make any sales at all. I do not condone shoplifting as I have worked in the industry and shoplifting is a huge blight on retailing.
