Crash suspect granted bail

A WOMAN who was allegedly drunk when she crashed into a motel injuring two men has been released on bail.

The crash took place at the Dragonfly Motel on Peel St, Garbutt, about 3.15am yesterday. She allegedly reversed a car into a unit. Two men inside the unit were injured with one taken to Townsville Hospital. The 27year- old driver yesterday faced charges including dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and driving under the influence. She was released on bail and will next appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on August 19.
