Ministry shake- up on the cards
PREMIER Annastacia Palaszczuk has put her ministers on notice that she could reshuffle her cabinet less than a year after taking power.
Ms Palaszczuk ( right) will review the performance of her 14 ministers by the end this year.
She promised during the January election campaign to cut the number of ministers from 18 to 14 to save money.
But she is now refusing to rule out adding more ministers or replacing those who are not performing well enough.
S e v e r a l rookie minister per f or mances would be reviewed, including Natural Resources and Mines Minister Anthony Lynham, Energy and Water Minister Mark Bailey and Townsville’s Disability Services Minister Coralee O’Rourke.
