Those ul­tra busy boys of in­ter­na­tion­ally ac­claimed As­ton Shuf­fle are bring­ing their phe­nom­e­nal pa­rade of hit tracks to Townsville

THE As­ton Shuf­fle are ready to fin­ish their na­tional DJ tour with a won­der­ful bang at Flin­ders So­cial on Satur­day night.

Af­ter clos­ing out 2014 with an epic na­tional live al­bum tour, a gold sin­gle for their an­them Tear It Down, and fi­nally their main stage per­for­mances on Stere­osonic, The As­ton Shuf­fle have spent the first six months of this year pre­par­ing the next wave of mu­sic and per­for­mances.

The first to emerge from the stu­dio was their phe­nom­e­nal remix of Nicki Mi­naj’s Truf­fle But­ter, storm­ing straight to # 1 on Hype Ma­chine.

Now, with new orig­i­nals near­ing com­ple­tion, the duo of Mikah Free­man and Vance Mus­grove drop another remix with a rein­ven­tion of Ju­nior Jack’s clas­sic E Samba.

To celebrate, the boys – now split be­tween New York and Can­berra – get to­gether for the first tour in six months and take it back to the clubs with a 10- date DJ tour.

Their long- await­ing sopho­more al­bum, fea­tur­ing the sin­gles Back and Forth, Tear It Down, No Place Like Home, Com­fort­able and Can’t Stop Now is out now.

These are also the guys play­ing all the sick­est tracks from all over the world ev­ery Fri­day night on Triple J.

The Aus­tralian EDM duo As­ton Shuf­fle launched their ca­reer in the mid- 2000s with a set of remixes.

Their de­but sin­gle, For Ev­ery­one, landed in 2008.

That was the same year the duo was hired, along with Kissy Sell Out, to mix the Min­istry of Sound com­pi­la­tion Mashed, Vol. 4.

They be­gan 2011 by open­ing for David Guetta and Ar­mand Van Helden at the Shore Thing New Year’s Eve party on Bondi Beach, and in April they re­leased their de­but al­bum Sev­en­teen Past Mid­night on the Down­right la­bel.

In 2013 they re­leased their Can’t Stop Now sin­gle on Casablanca.
