TOWNSVILLE speedway star Brody Eves will take on the world’s best this week when he competes at the Youth World Cup in France.
The 14- year- old racing prodigy appears destined for a big future in the high- oc-
tane motorsport and his trip to Europe is the latest chapter of an already impressive career on two wheels.
Brody has already won two Australian under- 16 championships – the first of which when he was 12 – and he is widely regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in the international speedway scene.
After making the trip to France – with his racing equipment and family in tow – Brody is hoping to do his family run Eves Racing Team proud.
He is also ready to strengthen his name in the hugely popular European speedway scene.
“I am about to leave on a trip that I have only dreamt about since I started racing speedway,” he said.
“I’m excited to compete against the best riders from around the world and while I am over in Europe I will try to get some exposure with clubs by competing in as many meetings as possible.”
Brody thanked all of his sponsors for their invaluable support of his motorsport dream.
He said he intended to do them all proud while competing in the 250cc division at the prestigious junior tournament.
