BATTLING THOSE NICKEL BLUES

-

HAS Clive Palmer’s nephew and partner in chief at Planet Clive, Clive Mensink ( pictured), come down with an ailment that allows him to cruise his way around the world, but makes him unfit to travel to Australia to appear in court?

Mini- Me Clive is playing the depression card to avoid court, but managing still to cruise the world with his post- divorce girlfriend. What a guy. No doubt she’s helping him get over those ol’ Qld Nickel blues. Lawyers would like to talk to the Skase- like figure about the collapse last year of Queensland Nickel. Eight hundred Townsville workers were left without a job and $ 300 million was left owing in debts.

Mr Mensink though appears to have become shy about returning to the wonderful land of Oz and the funny thing is no one seems to know exactly how to go about finding him. At least not in a hurry. Should an arrest warrant be issued, investigators will have to scour the seven seas and board every floating feedlot they can find to see if Big Clive Mensink is hunkered down at the bain marie.

Knowing his love of roadhouse tucker, they could set a trap baited with Aussie Chiko Rolls and Four’N Twenty pies. That’d get him.

Nothing would make former Queensland Nickel employees happier than to see Mr Mensink back in Australia answering questions about the Rise and Fall of Planet Clive.
