Silencing fans first goal
LAST weekend’s loss to the Melbourne Vixens was disappointing and we obviously felt bad at the time, but it’s a new week and we’ve been raring to get back into training.
There have been a few different things to work on and some areas of our game will need a bit of finetuning, including some of the connections, but we’re definitely not at panic stations.
Earlier in the week we stepped things up a bit and the energy has been really positive, which is fantastic because it will be a challenging weekend.
Other than that, we have been keeping things basically the same and just going through our usual steps ahead of our game on the road against Adelaide.
All games in this competition are challenging, but travel always makes difficult.
That’s something we have to take into account as part of our preparations.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds are a great team with some very talented players and one of the toughest things about playing them at home is the support of their fans.
Adelaide receive great support from their home fans and at times it can be like playing against an extra player, so taking the crowd out of Saturday’s game will be an early goal.
But these are the types of games we look forward to and I’m sure it will be a very entertaining contest. it a little more
