Ray White Commercial have leased a 295sq m workshop on a 1024sq m industrial site at 21 Hamill St, Garbutt, at $ 30,000 per annum plus GST. LIKE a nice cold brew on a stinking hot, windy day, the Crown Hotel Motel at Charters Towers won’t last long, according to Ray White Com- mercial Townsville director Adrian Pascoe.

“I think it will be snapped up very quickly. It’s an incredible opportunity,” Mr Pascoe said yesterday.

Ray White is marketing the hotel for sale as a going concern for $ 295,000 plus stock at valuation.

The 4482sq m property, at 119 Mosman St, ( pictured) includes a strip of shops comprising four fully leased retail tenancies, a hotel with public bar, bistro, keno, beer garden, drive through bottle shop, eight accommodation rooms and manager’s quarters.

Mr Pascoe said the retail shops were providing an annual income of about $ 40,000.

He said the Sydney- based owner was a motivated vendor who “wants it sold”.

After releasing details on Monday, Mr Pascoe said their phone had been running hot with inquiries from local and interstate investors.

He said it was a good opportunity for owner occupiers or investors looking to capitalise on a resurgent mining sector in the region. just
