AVERY Bradley’s ( above) buzzer- beating three- pointer has capped a stunning 111- 108 comeback win for Boston over Cleveland in game three of the NBA Eastern Conference finals.

AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan is open to changing the rules if necessary to ensure a crackdown on jumper punches. There were a number of incidents during the spiteful first half of Sunday’s game between North Melbourne and Melbourne, with several punches thrown and there have been several other incidents.

“I don’t like punching in our game ... to the extent that our rules don’t provide for it, we’ll look to change it,” he said. TWO former Townsville Crocodiles stars continue to do the city proud after taking out the recent three on three ( 3x3) Australian basketball championships in St Kilda.

in the national final. The competition included teams from right across the country playing in the fast- growing modified version of traditional basketball and ‘ Team Townsville’ stood tall to beat a high quality field featuring a host of former and current NBL, SEABL and QBL stars.

Keating was thrilled with how his team performed on the day, as they rallied behind the inside presence of 216cm centre Schenscher and some great team play to see off the rest of the competition.

“We beat Geelong, lost to the AIS, beat Newcastle and then Melbourne, who I personally thought looked the toughest on the day in the semi,” he said.

“Then we beat Darwin in the final 3- 10.

“We figured out the game plan after we lost to the AIS and found out that we could not trust the wind, by getting the ball inside to big Schench who was too tough for everyone else on the day.”

The team is now off to Mongolia in late May to compete for a spot on the lucrative 3x3 world tour, where teams from all over the world will be vying for a first prize of $ US10,000. The two top teams will also have the chance to travel the globe playing 3x3.
