Kabul Postie helps keep spirits up

SERVING on operation away from home, family and friends can make life tough for Townsville soldiers.

But one corporal is helping to keep spirits up in her role as a Defence postal officer in Afghanistan. A truckie by trade, Corporal Vanessa Raz ( pictured) of the 10th Force Support Battalion has been dubbed the “Kabul Postie” and takes her role as chief morale booster for 270 fellow troops seriously.
