SIGMA Healthcare plans to take the My Chemist/ Chemist Warehouse Group to court over an alleged breach of a supply agreement.
The pharmaceutical company says the proposed legal action relates to the group’s intention to obtain certain products from another wholesaler. It said that should the group proceed with its plans, Sigma’s earnings would take an estimated annual hit of between $ 5 million and $ 10 million. ACCLAIMED leadership guru and CEO of Emergent Holly Ransom is visiting Townsville to share her knowledge of how organisations can embrace a rapidly changing workplace.
She will speak at a James Cook University Business Excellence Series in the Tropics breakfast event at Rydges Southbank Townsville on June 8.
Ms Ransom will address how to lead a diverse workforce and how to position organisations to benefit from a constantly shifting environment.
She has worked with companies including Microsoft, KPMG, Europcar, and Virgin, and alongside world leaders including Barack Obama.
Ms Ransom will talk about some of the emerging trends in business, including the digital frontier, big data, artificial intelligence, multi- generational workforces and the changing nature of work.
