Jennings blow for Parra

PARRAMATTA have been dealt another injury blow, with former NSW Origin centre Michael Jennings to miss a month with a quad injury.

Jennings limped off the field in the second half of the Eels’ 22- 16 loss to Canberra on Saturday night, and will be unavailable until round 16. It means he will miss at least three matches, beginning with Friday’s clash with South Sydney, given they have the bye next weekend.

The news further compounds a difficult fortnight for the Eels, after they lost playmaker Corey Norman until round 17 with a knee injury last week.
