Musical chairs as Ange juggles his Socceroos

-

SOCCEROOS players are preparing for mass selection shakeups through the Confederations Cup to help cope with a gruelling schedule.

Australian players must grapple with three matches, in three different Russian cities, in seven days, to progress from their group.

There are no easy games for the Socceroos at the group stage, with world champions Germany, their first rivals tomorrow, and continental title- holders Cameroon and standing in their way.

Ange Postecoglou has put his entire squad on red alert to be ready for all three matches as he crafts a strategy that could take the Socceroos to the semi- finals.

“This tournament is going to be a little bit of a war of attrition,” Postecoglou said.

“The size of your squad and how healthy your players are becomes really, really important as you get deeper into the tournament.” Chile
