The mighty Maroons produced an epic come- from- behind Origin win in Sydney last night to keep the series alive.

It sets the stage for the Maroons to give retiring legend Johnathan Thurston a fitting farewell in front of a fanatical Suncorp Stadium crowd in the deciding game.

Obviously hampered by a shoulder injury, Thurston was again superb last night, throwing everything at the Blues and kicking the goahead conversion to set up the win.
