Zaro in the running to bring laughs
COMEDIAN and internet sensation Ian Zaro is lacing up his running shoes to take part in the Townsville Running Festival.
Zaro, who has become known for his videos made with the app Dubsmash, is a youth worker with the Townsville Aboriginal and Islanders Health Services ( TAIHS) and will contest the Townsville Bulletin 5km run in conjunction with Cowboys House.
Zaro said he planned to put a comedic twist on it.
“I think, while we’re there for the run I think we’ll put a bit of a comedy twist on it, get the kids laughing,” he said.
“I’ll be doing some comedy videos on the day of me trying to do the run and keep up with the kids.
