Hackett home after rehab stint

OLYMPIC great Grant Hackett is sober and back home to see his children and revitalise business interests after a stint in a US rehab clinic.

The former world swimming champion flew into Brisbane airport yesterday morning from Los Angeles.

A family friend said Hackett was feeling the best he had in three years, having addressed depression and anxiety issues, and was eager to see his two young children.

Hackett spent the majority of his time in Arizona with the family of Olympic hero Michael Phelps. He also spent a month in a Malibu rehab clinic.
