EXTREME bicycle stuntman Borys Zagrocki showed there was a place for pedal power at a high- octane Supercars event.

The professional trials bicycle rider, performer and instructor made his first appearance at the Watpac Townsville 400 over the three days, giving demonstrations as part of the event’s off- track entertainment.

Mr Zagrocki attracted plenty of visitors to his shows that were staged trackside and would love to come back for next year’s event.

“I hope to return. I’m really enjoying it so hopefully Townsville back me up on it.

“It’s been a good mix in the crowd, with kids and plenty of applause and even policemen cheering me on.”

Mr Zagrocki said performing at a Supercars events was a great experience.

“I’m a fan myself but not as huge a fan as some of the other people here,” he said. “I have a lot of appreciation for how much it takes to be a professional driver and all of the teamwork that’s involved in it.”

Mr Zagrocki, who is originally from Poland has been riding for over 15 years, starting in Europe and developing his skills throughout Asia and Australia.
