Jesinta struts her stuff for best Buddy

SHE is about to flaunt her bikini body for the nation, but only one critic matters to Jesinta Franklin.

“My husband ( AFL footballer Buddy Franklin) thinks I look good, so that’s all that matters,” said the Gold Coast model, who will strut her stuff at the David Jones Spring Summer 2017 launch in Sydney tonight.

Despite two months of intensive combat training and clean eating to get runway ready, an ultra- fit Franklin said it was never about forcing her body to look a certain way.

“If I started going down that track it would start to bring all those insecurities up,” she said.

“It’s about not placing models in a certain box of what they should look like... and being confident in your skin.”

She will showcase the newseason collections alongside supermodels Jessica Gomes, Bridget Malcolm and Shanina Shaik.

After jetting back into Australia on Monday, Malcolm, who has walked in the past two Victoria’s Secret shows, gushed about the retailer’s new all-Australian girl squad.

“They are all such nice girls. Shanina really took me under her wing for the first Victoria’s Secret Show and I’m really thankful that she did,” Malcolm said.

“I walked my first David Jones show at 17 and I was terrified, so to be back here having done the last campaign... is a huge honour.”
