Marching to a Broadway beat fundraiser

TOWNSVILLE’S popular 1RAR Band will glam it up when it goes Broadway for one show at Riverway arts centre tonight.

The band will feature three singers and 10 of its best musicians to perform a selection of hit musicals in an intimate cabaret setting at Riverway arts centre.

The Marching Down Broadway show will raise money for Cootharinga North Queensland.

Audiences will hear music from smash hits including Wicked, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray and The Boy from Oz.

Ticket prices will include a table setting with a cheese platter, and drinks will be available from the bar.

Marching Down Broadway is on at the Riverway Arts Centre tonight at 7.
