March­ing to a Broad­way beat fundraiser

TOWNSVILLE’S pop­u­lar 1RAR Band will glam it up when it goes Broad­way for one show at River­way arts cen­tre tonight.

The band will fea­ture three singers and 10 of its best mu­si­cians to per­form a selec­tion of hit mu­si­cals in an in­ti­mate cabaret set­ting at River­way arts cen­tre.

The March­ing Down Broad­way show will raise money for Cootharinga North Queens­land.

Au­di­ences will hear mu­sic from smash hits in­clud­ing Wicked, Cabaret, Je­sus Christ Su­per­star, Hair­spray and The Boy from Oz.

Ticket prices will in­clude a ta­ble set­ting with a cheese plat­ter, and drinks will be avail­able from the bar.

March­ing Down Broad­way is on at the River­way Arts Cen­tre tonight at 7.
