THE KID IS MAKING A COMEBACK

-

FORMER Mundingburra MP and Newman government minister David Crisafulli is returning to politics two years after his shock defeat in the 2015 state election. Mr Crisafulli, who earned the nickname “The Kid” when he ran for Townsville City Council at the age of 24, has spent the past two years living on the Gold Coast with his family – wife Tegan and daughters Nicola, 10, and Georgia, 12, ( pictured) – and will run for the seat of Broadwater at the next state election. “We’ve settled in, we feel at home and I have a real sense of unfinished business and a feeling I’ve got something to offer,” he said. Read all about The Kid’s comeback in the Townsville Eye, inside your Weekend Bulletin tomorrow.
