Team Mayweather KOs talk of Horn bout

- PHIL ROTHFIELD

FLOYD Mayweather’s camp has a massive amount of respect for Australia’s Jeff Horn but has ruled out any chance of the pair fighting.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said that tomorrow’s Fight of the Century would be definitely be the last for his undefeated champi- on who is coming out of a twoyear retirement to fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

“Nothing against Jeff Horn but Floyd is just done,” Ellerbe said.

“He’s not looking to accomplish anything after this.

“He’s beaten everyone in his era in a remarkable career.

“He’s ready to move on to the next stage of his life with his business interests. Jeff can call him out all he wants to but Floyd Mayweather is done. This is it.”

Ellerbe revealed he watched Horn beat Manny Pacquiao in Brisbane not once but three times.

And unlike most Americans who were influenced by the one- sided commentary of ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas, he thought Horn won.

“I’d like to congratulate Jeff Horn on his great victory against an all- time great of boxing,” Ellerbe said.

“I watched the fight three times. I definitely thought he won.

“He was aggressive and it was a fantastic performance.

“If they do the fight again I expect him to win again.”
