Pollies pass the buck on same- sex marriage

-

HAVE you ever asked yourself why, at various stages in the past three years, both sides of politics were determined to deliver a plebiscite on the question of same- sex marriage? Were they all just being democratically over zealous or is there a deeper, more subversive reason?

On the surface it appears that the decision is simply about changing the Marriage Act to allow same- sex couples to marry. However what many politicians know is that there is so much more at stake than what is being revealed or reported. What they know is that subversive far- left ideologies have hijacked this issue for their own political ends. As a result, voting yes will ultimately bring catastrophic social change encroaching on every Australian’s freedoms to say, do and believe whatever they choose.

This is not some far- fetched conspiracy theory. Canadians have already experienced firsthand the effects that their government’s decision to legislate for genderless marriage has had on their lives. As a result of this legislation it is now illegal to use the wrong gender pronouns and inconceivably, terms such as “husband” and “wife” or “mother” and “father” are now deemed to be offensive and only used by “bigots”. With the passing of this law Canadians who do not subscribe to this progressive gender theory could be accused of hate crimes, face huge fines and even be jailed if they refuse to comply, and this sadly is just the tip of the iceberg.

And so, the postal plebiscite is our government’s way of “passing the buck” to all Australians so that we collectively can be held accountable for “our” decision to bring this pending chaos into our lives.

I encourage you to look at all the facts from nations which have gone before, and vote “NO” in the coming postal vote.

A “NO” vote will pass the buck back to our gutless politicians forcing them to do their job and follow the courage of their convictions while knowing all that is ultimately at stake. MICHAEL QUILTY, Jabiru, NT
