Alloy wheel repair specialist relocates to location by motor dealerships Shift turning out for best

- TONY RAGGATT

JORDAN Williams is a wheel expert who appears to have the market cornered.

Not only has Mr Williams taken a prime position on one of Townsville’s busiest intersections but he is also North Queensland’s only alloy wheel repair specialist, having cut his teeth with manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover in the United Kingdom.

Mr Williams said he had been operating his business, Magmedic Alloy Wheel Refurbishment, for about four years in Townsville and was gaining steady growth.

He services clients needing repairs, wheel straightening and cosmetic jobs on alloy wheels.

He has just relocated from Garbutt to premises near the Charters Towers Rd- Woolcock St intersection.

“We have moved to a better location on Charters Towers Rd,” Mr Williams said.

“I think this new location will work well.

“It has plenty of exposure, it is close to the main dealerships which we do work for anyway and we should pick up the private work. A lot of people work in the city.

“For the market we chase and the customer base we serve, it should work better for us on this side of town.”

The business carries out repairs for insurance companies, tyre shops, car body repair centres, car dealerships and the private market.
