TYCOON Chris Morris has celebrated his 70th birthday in Townsville, holding an exclusive celebration at The Ville ResortCasino. Mr Morris ( pictured fourth from left with his family) is the owner of the Townsville casino and chose to have his party on Thursday night in the venue’s ballroom. That wasn’t the end of the celebrations though, with Mr Morris and members of his entourage jumping on his superyacht The Flying Fish yesterday to sail to Orpheus Island for the weekend. Orpheus Island is part of Mr Morris’ Colonial Leisure Group’s North Queensland tourism portfolio.
