Agents return to city
‘ Family’ brand’s new shop
REAL ESTATE powerhouse Raine and Horne have made a return to the Townsville market, opening a new agency in Hermit Park.
The agency is leasing a premises on Charters Towers Rd and while already open for business, they will celebrate the official opening on November 24.
Raine and Horne Townsville principal Steve Leaumont said Raine and Horne was a trusted brand.
“Raine and Horne is a really nice family- orientated business so it’s still run by family members,” he said.
“They have some really innovative products that are on the market, coming to the market or in the conception stage.
“Raine and Horne is a credible family business that is well known, so that gives us credibility.”
Mr Leaumont, who has a corporate commercial background will run the agency with the help of his business partner and experienced real estate agent Sue Edmunds.
He said being customer focused and offering good communication would form the core of their business.
“Communication is the key to success,” Mr Leaumont said.
“We’ll be running things like a tenant of the month and we’ll give them a voucher for $ 100.
“When things like that happen the tenants start to take ownership and if they are engaged they’re more likely to extend their lease.”
Mr Leaumont said when finding an office space they wanted somewhere visible that was easy for people to find. The large office was previously used as a bank and still has a vault out the back.
“It’s all about word of mouth and this is one of the busiest streets in Townsville, so we’re accommodating people’s wants and needs because most people use this street,” he said.
“We’re close to the city, Stocklands, Kirwan and Railway Estate, so it’s pretty central.”
