Adani protest ends in arrests

-

PROTESTERS have been arrested after attempting to disrupt Adani’s operations in Townsville but individual members refused to comment.

Fifteen people attempted to “occupy” Adani’s headquarters in South Townsville yesterday but were unable to make it past a security door.

The protesters, linked to the # StopAdani movement, instead blocked access to the entry of the building by linking arms.

Eighteen police officers attended the office and four protesters were arrested.

The Bulletin approached three protesters but they refused to talk about the incident.
