SUB- LEASE FACE OF SKIN CARE
A NEW injectables business has opened in Townsville after taking on a sublease at a skin care clinic.
Ronnie Woodward, owner of Indigo Injectables, has opened inside Addesso at Mooney St, Gulliver after taking on a treatment room.
Sub- leasing has become an increasingly popular option for businesses owners in Townsville who otherwise wouldn’t want the financial risk of taking on a full lease.
Mr Woodward said Addesso had been the perfect fit due to their focus on skincare and being able to sublease a treatment room had been the per- fect opportunity to open the business.
“I’ve known Judy Oast ( Addesso owner) for a really long time and she used to do my face many years ago,” he said.
“Addesso is very central as well and it just feels really warm and welcoming.
“Sub- leasing has been a great way to go for me because this is the first business I’ve ever owned and not knowing how well things are going to pick up makes it difficult to commit to a space for six months or two years.”

Mr Woodward said he had always had a passion for skin care and had said goodbye to his career in emergency medicine to pursue his dream.
“This is a career change for me because my background is emergency medicine but then I started working in another ( skincare) clinic earlier in the year and I loved it so my inten- tion was always to get out on my own.
“I’ve been fascinated with skin my whole life.
“We’ll be offering a premier product with a focus on clients meeting goals and we’re going to have real transparency with what we do and price.”
