Facelift pays for showroom

- CHRISTIE ANDERSON

TOWNSVILLE business Pacific Bathroom have extensively renovated their showroom to cater to the growing renovators market.

The business located in Garbutt spent four weeks renovating at a cost of more than $ 20,000.

The business which started in 2009 created a showroom three years ago but it was in need of an update to cater to the demand for builders or renovators who want to be able to touch and see products before buying them.

Pacific Bathroom sales manager Richard Pullinger said the feedback from customers had been overwhelmingly positive.

“Keeping the showroom up- to- date and keeping it fresh is at the forefront of our busi- ness and what we noticed was there was a gaping hole in the market,” he said.

“We’re bringing in new products and deleting a few ranges. Structurally we did move a couple of walls and we just freshened up the showrooms.

“A lot of builders have come in and said they love the new look and we’ve had repeat customers doing their second or third bathroom that we haven’t dealt with for 12 months.

Mr Pullinger said the business was locally owned and operated and they offered great service.

“I believe we are very personable,” he said.

“We also carry our own stock which gives us a massive advantage.

“95 per cent of what you see on the floor we have in stock.”
