Agent busted over videos

-

A TOP Major League Baseball player agent has been fired after allegedly being caught secretly filming clients while they showered, reports said Wednesday.

Jason Wood, the president of baseball at Career Sports Entertainment Talent, was nabbed after a player taking a shower at his home discovered a camera, ESPN reported.

The player confronted Wood and subsequently dismissed him. CSE Talent said in a statement Wood had been dismissed after failing to uphold the company’s “moral and ethical standards”.

“It’s unfortunate that CSE Talent aligned itself with someone who didn’t uphold these same standards and therefore we chose to terminate with cause Wood’s employment,” CSE talent president Danny Martoe said.

Wood had represented Red Sox star Andrew Benintendi and former New York Yankees ace David Phelps among others, reports said.

The agent has also been suspended by the MLB Players Association.
