A BIG neon party will highlight North Queensland’s largest display village as it launches today featuring 16 new homes from 10 local builders.

The North Shore Display Village has gone beyond just housing, with a purpose- built CrossFit facility, a soccer field, a cafe with tapas bar and a playground with a huge jumping pillow.

North Shore project director Andrew Astorquia said the village’s concept was unique in Townsville and showcased what the North Shore community was all about.

“We wanted to create a village that showcases not only the latest and greatest in new home designs, but one that also gives a sense of what this community has to offer for our families,” he said. The North Shore Neon Party being held for the launch will come with entertainment including acrobats, musicians and various community groups. Mr Astorquia said the light show would be like nothing Townsville had ever seen.

“It not only signals the opening of our new display village, but the event itself is really something different for Townsville,” he said.

“The show will light up the entire display village and be choreographed to high- energy music while entertainers dressed with neon lights, acrobats and musicians roam through the houses and streets of the display village.”

The North Shore Neon Party will be held from 5- 8pm at the new North Shore Display Village on Barramundi Circuit.
