PLAY TELEVISION BETHENNY REALITY ROYALTY
face to face with The Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel is a full- on, fast- talking experience – and you’d better be ready for it.
The 47- year- old is unlike most other fame- hungry, get- rich- quick reality stars.
In the decade the show has been on air, the selfmade millionaire has gone from a natural foods chef to a multi- millionaire thanks to her Skinnygirl cocktail range.
When it comes to leveraging her reality TV fame, the single mother of seven- year- old Bryn is third only to the Kardashians and US President Donald Trump.
On top of publishing five best- selling self- help books, she also runs her own TV production company and stars in several spin- off TV series.
After going on a date with Meghan Markle’s ex- husband, Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson, the pair are reportedly working on a new series.
“I am pretty sharp, it’s hard to keep up with me. It’s impossible to be ahead of me. I’m on top of my game,” she says.
If she nails business, she struggles with relationships.
While she missed the season launch in NY to visit Australia, Frankel’s co- stars used the red carpet to speak about their “difficult” relationships with her.
She shrugs: “It’s a sport to try and take me down, but … you’d need to bring in an army.”
