On a mission for wellness

- CHRISTIE ANDERSON christie. anderson@ news. com. au

THE Wellness Centre has moved into a vacant Ingham Rd premises to offer a range of services to promote health and happiness.

Bowen therapist practitioner Carla HutchinsonReade, life coach Kathryn Wiseman and nutritionist and reflexologist Louise Dennison have joined forces to open the new business at 9 Ingham Rd, West End.

The trio are also searching for a fourth team member with one consulting room still vacant.

Ms Hutchinson- Reade said each of their skill sets complemented each other perfectly.

“Kathryn’s children and mine go to the same school and I had seen Kathryn pop up on social media and that she was a life coach,” she said.

“I had clients where there was some work I couldn’t do with them in terms of mindset that Kathryn could.

“When Carla rang me I was working from home, which I found quite lonely, so I already had feelers out about who I could connect with. Then I had known Louisa for a long time because our youngest boys play cricket together.”

As well as offering Bowen therapy, nutrition advice, life coaching and reflexology there will be core movement classes and workshops.

Ms Hutchinson- Reade said the Ingham Rd premises was the perfect space for The Wellness Centre.

“We started looking at spaces and as soon as we walked in we just knew this was it,” she said.

“This provides separate consulting rooms as well as a communal space.”
