- KEAGAN ELDER

Sat May 26 Sat May 26 Sat May 26 Sat May 26 Sat May 26 Sat May 26 7.00PM 7.00PM 7.00PM 7.00PM 3.00PM 3.00PM Brothers Ingham Rebels Wulguru Brothers Wulguru V V V V V V MA Olympic Saints Burdekin Warriors MA Olympic Warriors SAINTS have a chance of claiming top spot of the North Queensland Premier League when they play Ingham tonight.

But Saints coach Paul Szado remained reserved, not feeling overly confident after Ingham bagged its first win of the season last weekend.

“Not after they beat Wulguru ( 1- 0), so they’re on a bit of a roll,” Szado said.

Szado was very familiar with Ingham coach Michael Grazioli’s style, having played with him for North Queensland.

“( Grazioli) will do a good job with them, he will fire them up,” he said.

Szado said his side needed to work on its finishing, leaving many chances begging.

To date, the Saints have scored 14 goals in six games, while top of the ladder Warriors have scored 19.

“We’re not really playing that well, not at the moment,” Szado said. “We’ve got to take our chances.”

Saints versus Ingham kicks off at Augie Pane Field. In tonight’s other games, Rebels play Burdekin at Greenwood Park, Brothers take on MA Olympic at Hi Vista Park and Wulguru play Warriors at Wulguru Park.
