All the countries we export live animals to also import boxed meat, so why not sell a value added product? The Federal AMIEU states that live export is hurting meat workers and that every million head of cattle that is unavailable for meatworks to process equates to around 3000 jobs. Animal cruelty is simply wrong and the live exporters have had too many chances, it’s time to end this indefensible trade in animal suffering.
