IT’S no secret Townsville is passionate about its footy, and there are few games more exciting than the first State of Origin of the series.

Origin kicks off at 8pm tonight, and there are plenty of venues around the city that will have all your State v State, Mate v Mate needs covered.

Cowboys Leagues Club, 313- 335 Flinders St The atmosphere is sure to be elec- tric with all the action live on the club’s 84” TVs for all three games of the series. There are stacks of promotions, prizes to win and specials during the game plus free nibbles at halftime in the Next Lounge Bar and Sidelines Sports Bar so you won’t miss a minute. The Brewery, 252 Flinders St The Brewery will have all your Origin needs covered with the game live on the big screen, a “Steak of Origin” special and drink specials galore.

All are welcome to join in the action, and a lucky door prize will be drawn every time Queensland scores a try.
